Talking about second class citizens, ever wonder why Nepali's were not allowed into the Casino while Paras sarkar is not only always welcome, but also got to shoot the living daylights out of the casino? It has to be, either Paras Sarkar is not a Nepali or the rest of us are not worthy enough. We all know that the second case to be true.
But enough of allegories. I went and watched the movie last night. This one is different, and yes maybe only "On her Majesties secret service" and maybe "for your eyes only" compares. But is Daniel Craig the ultimate Bond? The media seem to love him, and my does he have chiseled body. Remember soft and flabby Roger Moore. But Timothy Dalton somehow seems darker than this guy. But I still think the last guy, Pierce Brosnan was better, he seemed more like the sophosticated Oxford graduate, cynical Brit character that Bond is supposed to be. Dan Craig look more like the British football hooligan. You'd not want to meet either on a dark alley. The new bond does look more like a millitary commander, that he's supposed to be and fights well and is more physical. But somehow, to me Bond was always the cynical killer that would punch you on the balls on a boxing match (I've been watching Rocky too many times) and would not hesistate to cheat to win. And always with a smile. And he'd not fall for a girl and send an email saying 'I hereby resign" to M, I mean, what can be more cheesy than that. Also a big plot hole, they get out of the torture chamber (I liked the ball whipping and itch joke though) and he is not a bit curious how she got out of it without even being raped? Well, but we take the story in it;s face value. Overall, it;s enjoyable, but we have to see a few more movies before Dan Craig get's institutionalized.
By the way, isn't Stallone too old to go around fighting? Rocky-6? I thought Rocky-2 was an overkill. Rocky 3 and 4 were both jokes. Rocky-5 was ok. But Rocky-6? and who's he fighting? Mike Tyson? hehehehe But I bet I'd still pay my 8 dollars to watch the movie.
